National Historic Landmark Documentation

National Historic Landmarks (NHLs) are cultural properties designated by the Secretary of the Interior as being nationally significant.  Acknowledged as among the nation’s most significant historic places, these buildings, sites, districts, structures and objects possess exceptional value or quality in illustrating or interpreting the heritage of the United States in history, architecture, archaeology, engineering, and culture.  Approximately 2,300 properties are designated as NHLs nationwide.  Potential NHLs must meet a stringent test for national significance, and must have extensive documentation justifying their eligibility for NHL designation.

We specialize in preparing National Historic Landmark nominations nationwide. Our professional staff has completed the required National Historic Landmark Program Webinars. Please contact us for a complete list of successfully completed NHL nominations.
